Prominent New York TImes writer, Nicholas Confessore, profiles Raja Daswani & Raja Fashions in "His Mission: Freeing Men From the Rack":

At the Hilton, he was, of course, sharply dressed: a light gray single-breasted suit, a pale pink shirt, and a red tie, a measuring tape draped over his shoulders. He moved in quick, precise movements, completing 17 measurements and a detailed questionnaire -- Flat-front pants or pleated? Side vents or center vents? A boxy cut or a slim-fitting one? -- in about 15 minutes.

Mr. Daswani is used to working swiftly within the confines of a hotel suite. A British citizen of Indian descent, he spends eight months of the year traveling to cities in Europe and the United States. Mr. Daswani estimates that he is one of perhaps seven or eight tailors who make frequent trips abroad. Measurements and digital pictures are sent to Kowloon, where a team of about 100 tailors toils away. The finished product is shipped back to the customer.
